180 years of dalli

An anniversary with tropical flair

In November 1845, the foundation stone was laid in Stolberg for a success story that has now lasted 180 years.

Stolberg, 1 July 2025 – The dalli group is celebrating its 180th anniversary this year – a milestone in the company’s rich history that was honoured with a big summer party at the Stolberg site. Under the motto “Festival Tropicana”, the factory premises were transformed into a colourful celebration landscape for all employees on Friday.

More than 600 guests enjoyed a varied celebration with Caribbean flair, live music and culinary delights. In a short speech, the management thanked the employees for their commitment and solidarity – especially in view of the past years of reorganisation and further development.

“180 years of dalli – that’s 180 years of innovation, reliability and solidarity. This celebration is a thank you to our employees and a look ahead to a shared future,” emphasised the management in its speech.

The family-owned company based in Stolberg is one of the leading suppliers of laundry, cleaning and personal care products in Europe. With brands such as dalli and its subsidiary Mäurer & Wirtz, the dalli group stands for quality “Made in Germany” – yesterday, today and tomorrow.
