Stolberg, 4 August 2025 – The dalli group has published its second sustainability report and draws a positive balance: the traditional family business shows that sustainability is firmly anchored in its corporate strategy – both as an obligation and as a driver of innovation. “For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a central task with long-term significance – ecologically, socially and economically,” explains Christoph Osegowitsch, CEO and COO of the dalli group. “We are aware of the impact of our actions and have therefore established a clear, systematic approach to sustainability.”

Successful sustainability year 2024

In 2024, the dalli group once again made tangible progress in all three dimensions of sustainability – environmental, social and economic. These successes are due in particular to the commitment of our employees, who are actively driving the company’s development forward.

The most important milestones include

  • Climate protection targets exceeded: The strategic milestone targets for direct (Scope 1 & 2) and indirect (Scope 3) greenhouse gas emissions were significantly exceeded. The dalli group has also submitted its declaration of commitment to participate in the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
  • Award from EcoVadis: In the current 2024/2025 assessment, the dalli group was once again awarded the silver medal – making it one of the top 15 per cent of the world’s best-rated companies in the EcoVadis ranking.
  • Improved environmental performance: Since the base year 2020, environmental performance has improved by 17 percentage points. In order to continue the strategically targeted annual improvement of 2 percentage points on average, 2024 has now been defined as the new base year.
  • Top rating on the RSPO Scorecard: The dalli group once again received the top score of 10.0 on the “RSPO Shared Responsibility Scorecard” – making it one of only three companies in Germany to achieve this rating.

Responsibility as the basis for sustainable growth

The report also documents further progress in the areas of process optimisation, sustainable supply chains and social responsibility – for example through the promotion of diversity, equal opportunities and fair working conditions.

“Sustainability is a dynamic process. We know that there is still a lot to do – and we are setting ourselves ambitious goals to continuously improve our contribution,” says Osegowitsch. Innovation, partnership-based cooperation and open dialogue with stakeholders play a central role in this.
